Deer me.....

Umm...Jingle Bells that deer is not one of Santa's reindeer that will take you back to the North Pole. Even you don't have that much magic in you.

Today we found this dude in our calendar. Bubby loves when we get the Lego people instead of the ships. Me too! These are so much easier to put together.
Today My oldest daughter,Bubby and I went shopping at our outdoor mall or Promenade as some people call it. I love the setting of this place. It is surrounded by mountains. I have to try and get a picture next time I am there. This is the Christmas tree in the town's fountain. (Yes. You read that right. In the summer they turn the fountain on for the kids to run thru it.)This thing is huge! Next to it is a gazebo where Santa does pictures on the weekends. It also happens to be right next to Starbucks. A nice little bonus for the parents. :)

One of these years I will get my son's picture taken here.It gets crazy busy here on the weekends. I love the concept of having a picture with Santa in front of this fireplace. I did notice today they do have space heaters to warm up the gazebo.
Our lunch today! Sometimes you have to eat dessert first. :) Not only does this place have a Starbucks they also have a Nestle toll house cafe. The smell of this place is unbelievable.

I say judging from their faces they agree. Dessert should always be first!
Have a great night!

Day 4~Up on a Ladder

Day 4 found Jingle Bells hanging out on a ladder on the wall. I have had a migraine for the last few days so luckily Jingle bells has been being nice to me and not making messes. Oh, Bubby decided to change his name to Peter. He's really into Peter Pan these days. I've been calling Elf Peter Jingle Bells. HaHa!

We also found this strange Star Wars Lego. I thought I knew everything Star Wars until I started this calendar. Every day I'm finding myself clueless. Ha!

So where did you find your Elf today?

Dec 3~it was Elf with the candlestick in the family room..

Day 3 found our pesky little friend on the candle stick in the family room. I think it was to keep a closer eye on all of us.

Bubby got this in his Star Wars advent. I have no clue what it is. Any ideas?

The red advent brought him Swedish fish. I'm sure sometime in the next hour I will regret that. Ha!

We had an usually warm December day today. 65 degrees. Way too warm for this time of year. Of course it left me with a horrible migraine so I believe it will be a shower and bed for this gal soon. Very soon.

Dec 2- second day of Elf

Day 2 of the 25 wonderful days of Jingle Bells found the pesky dude hanging out on my bakers rack. He did absolutely nothing wrong but he also brought absolutely nothing either. My son was very quick to point that out.

Day two of the Star Wars Lego calendar brought us this guy. Who I have no idea his name. At least I didn't have to google his directions like that jet fighter thingy.

I also remembered to do the other advent calendar tonight. Snaps for Mommy!

After months of speculating something was wrong with our friends we learned we were right. Unfortunately. They are separating. I feel horrible. Please keep them in your prayers. They have two children and it's been hard on all of them. The upcoming holidays are making it worse.

December 1st

Look who came back for the holiday season. Again. That pesky little Elf. At least this time he brought gifts. Last year all he did was cause trouble. Because it is December 1st it also means something else came for the holidays. The Advent calendar.

Bubby is always excited about this. He reminds bugs us non stop about opening a door each day. Let's hope I remember to fill it each day. As if an Elf and an advent calendar weren't enough to remember to do each night,I added another advent calendar.

Behold the Star Wars Lego calendar. Behind each door is a Lego set to put together. I was thinking the same thing. This woman either really loves Christmas or she is a nutcase. My money is on the nutcase. There is no way I am going to remember to move that Elf every night or put stuff in that red calendar or put Lego sets together.

P.S. funny story about the Star Wars calendar. Bubby opened the 1st door and pulled out the little pack of Lego's. I'm looking at the bag and wondering what the heck it makes. No directions. No picture. I do what any Mom would do who doesn't have a clue. I google the calendar. After looking for a while I found a video on the calender. As the woman is talking about the calendar I happen to notice that the picture of what its suppose to be is on the back of the 1st door! I can't believe I missed that. HA!

Anyone else do calendars?
