The wheels on a SUV.....

You will be happy to know after (years)weeks of looking we finally found a new SUV. It is big enough to pull our camper. I think it is big enough to pull anyone's camper. LOL. Can't wait for the next camping trip to use it!

Not Me Monday

It's Monday! You know what that means. Time once again for not me Monday. I am so happy to see Mckmama back on Mondays.

I did not ask for Wii and Wii fit for Mothers day. That is a game system for kids and clearly I am a mature adult who would never ask for one. Oh no. Not me.

If I got a Wii, I would never say to my daughter "Get your own" when asked to play next. Not Me.

I also did not spend the day shopping yesterday and almost forget to pick my 15 year old daughter from work yesterday.

I did not give my (almost) two year old a lollipop Saturday at a wedding just to keep him quiet in church. Oh no. Not Me. After all everyone knows I hate lollipops.

I will not be spending the rest of the day putting ice on my back. I mean Wii sports could never kick my butt.

O.k. 'Fess up. What didn't you do? Don't forget to not read Mckmama's blog.

Love,Thursday

I know I am biased but isn't my daughter beautiful? This is a prom picture from two weeks ago. We took so many pictures that night, but this is Willy Wonka's golden ticket photo. Why? Because I am in it! I'm sure I have friends who passed out when they saw that photo. I am lucky I am in 1-2 pictures a year. That is so sad,I know. I seem to be the main picture taker around here. The biggest truth? I HATE to have my picture taken. Am I really the only one out there that does?Enjoy!

Weekend with friends..........

This past weekend we did two things we love to do. Camping and hanging out with our friends. 6 years ago we bought our first camper after friends of ours did. I remember looking at all the campers and thinking are we nuts? Hubby grew up camping. I did not. In fact my Dad's idea of roughing it was a hotel with no room service. So how does a girl like me start camping in the first place? A nature loving hubby. That's how. A thing that started out with just two families has grown. This past weekend we had four families with us. Next camping trip we will have seven families with us. How do we keep getting families to go with us? Easy. You have your kid tell their kid how much fun it is. Then their child nags them to get a camper or to go camping. Not that I would ever encourage such behavior. That would be totally wrong. I do have to warn you,if you camp with us at some point of the weekend it will rain. Rain hard.
