Aloha Friday

It's Friday so it can only mean one thing. It's time for an Island life's Aloha Friday. My question to you is this:

What is your favorite childhood movie? I actually have two that I could watch over and over again. The Goonies. I love how Steven Spielburg made a kids version of the Indiana Jones series. I don't know why but this movie still makes me smile. I know it's a little cheesy. *This year for Christmas I asked(and got) the 25th anniversary addition of this movie. Yep. I'm dorky that way. HA!

My second favorite is The adventures of babysitting. I think it's because of that whole babysitting when you are a teen thing. Talk about a cast of people who all went on to do other things. Elisabeth Shue will be starting on CSI soon. Thor has been on Law and Order for years. "So Cool Mike" has been on West Wing. "Daryl Coppersmith" Has been in rent both on Broadway and the movie. Check out the cast list and you will see they all have been in things you have probably watched. I heart the 80's. HA!

Don't forget to head over to Island's life and answer her question. Hope everyone has a great weekend......

That's a tough one - we didn't go to movies when we were kids, so I don't have any childhood favorites per se, but one of my favorites is one of the first ones us kids went to see at the theater (sans the parents) was Raiders of the Lost Ark. I think I'll have to get the DVD's and share them with Princess Nagger. :)

About a year ago I would have said The Neverending Story. Then I watched it again and can't understand what I liked about it. Definitely a fan of many of the Disney Movies. Especially Lion King and Aladdin.
