Aloha Friday....

It's Friday so it can only mean one thing. It's time for an Island life Aloha Friday. My question to you is this:

What type of Christmas tree do you put up? Real or Artificial? We put up an artificial one due to my allergies. This isn't a good time of year for me between my pine and Cinnamon allergies. HA! Makes it tough to shop and visit people.

Please visit An Island Life and answer her question of the day.

This is a question my daughter asked last night. We use artificial now-a-days. We put real one up only a couple times early in our marriage. then my husband did not like the dropping needles. He also did not celebrate Christmas(Jewish). so for over 10 years we had no tree. then when we started Celebrating Christ birth( now Christ believers), we decided now more real ones. We did get a small one to plant outside. However now we do not even do that. so I have three to four Artificial ones in the house. I use cedar and pine candles for the smell and It works just fine. Folks think the trees are real.

We keep saying that some year we will buy a beautiful artificial tree on sale, BUT. . . hasn't happened yet ~ we still LOVE our real Xmas tree!! :-)

We used to buy a real tree when the kids were little, but since they are all adults now we use an artificial tree.

We've had an artificial tree for the last few years and we love it! I do miss the pine smell but the artificial tree is so much easier to maintain.

Oh you poor thing! I don't know what I'd do if I were allergic to pine and cinnamon! :)

We do an artificial tree - mostly because real trees are so expensive anymore (gone are the days you could get a ginormous real tree for $30) so it makes more economical sense to do artificial. Bonus if it's pre-lit. ;)

I was surprised to see how many people have artificial trees. Most of our friends have real trees so it makes for a really interesting visit. HA!
