Aloha Friday

It's Friday so it can only mean one thing. It's time for an Island life's Aloha Friday. My question to you is this:

Are you a summer or winter person? When I was growing up I couldn't wait for winter. There was the knowledge every Christmas you would get snow gloves or snow pants. Occasionally get a new sled. You just waited for that first snow fall. Nothing beat getting up for school and just waiting for the radio to call your school's name. Keeping your fingers crossed that the school was closed and not just a 2 hour delay. Trust me when I say we would go out first thing in the morning and not come in until lunchtime. We would hurry up and eat lunch change into dry clothes and our parents wouldn't see us until dinnertime. I have noticed over the years kids don't do that anymore. They go out for a little bit and come back in. You won't see them for the rest of the day. Or they just spend their snow day in the house playing video games. Sad. They are calling for snow tonight and my 4 year old is so excited. He got a new sled for Christmas and can't wait to try it out.

Head on over to Island life and answer her question too.

I love the Fall, but if I had to choose winter or summer, I'll choose summer.

I can not stand to be hot... so, I would say WINTER, but we are indoors more then, so I like Summer for the fact of being outside

I am a winter person! I love cold weather, snow, Christmas, when the days get dark early...

I agree with Auntie E. I love all the season, always ready for the next one, but I'd go with summer if I had to chose one.

I'm a fall and Spring person :) Summer is too hot, Winter is too cold :)

I love them all! Except now I live in Florida so winter doesn't mean the same as it did when growing up in Ohio. Then it meant snow and ice skating. Now it means not being so hot/humid while biking and boating.

My favorite season is fall, but between summer and winter, I'm a winter gal all the way - I love snow! I just wish it would hurry up and snow here. ;)

I am so not a winter person -- I don't like cold and while snow can be very pretty I don't like having to shovel it and I dread having to drive in it. I'd much rather it be spring/summer.

And my kids are not big on winter either it seems -- they go out for a while if it snows but not for very long. In the spring/summer/fall I won't seem them for hours :-)

Definitely a Winter person. I don't do well in hot weather and since Winter really isn't too bad here in the islands it's perfect for me!
