Show me your......

Every Friday, Kelly from Kelly's Korner does a new topic in her "Show Me Your Life" series. This Friday's topic? Mom's with teenagers. A topic I could write a book on. The good, the bad, and the ugly. We had our girls when we were young. Early 20's young. By the time my youngest daughter was born, I had three girls under 3 and a half. My 2nd and 3rd daughter are 17 months apart. When my girls were little I never realized that when they were babies and toddlers that they would be easy years compared to the teen years. I always believed that if you teach them when they are young they will fly straight when they are older.

My oldest daughter is now 21. She is in college and her major changes daily. Just joking. She will graduate with a degree in finance but will be continuing her education to become an event planner.

My second daughter just turned 19. She is in her first year of college. She hopes to become an oncology nurse.

My youngest daughter now 17 is a challenge. The moment she turned 12 it's like she became a different person. We have had more ups and downs with her than the other two girls. She is more likely to yell in your face. It's tough being a teen these days. More temptation. More peer pressure. The list is endless. I know I wouldn't want to be one.

We also have a 5 year old son. I'll save him for another post.

We have laid down the foundation work for our children. We have taught them right from wrong. It is now up to them to take the tools we have given them and do what is right. Mentally. Emotionally. Spiritual. Because at the end you just pray to God you taught them well.

Thank you for stopping in. Feel free to leave a comment to say hi.
