Today Hubby and two of our kids left to go to Alaska. My two youngest girls have been struggling with the death of my BIL. They felt like they never got the closure when he passed away 3 years ago. A month ago my SIL told my in laws she was moving from Alaska. We decided to take the girls there to visit the grave before she moved. Me,Bubby, and cheerleader were suppose to go also but the cost of the trip was getting out of hand. I'm not going to lie, I really wanted to go back to Alaska. I love it there! So 3am this morning I kissed everyone and sent them on their way. I am hoping my girls fall in love with Alaska just as I did 10 years ago. I know for my girls this trip is more then seeing the sights. It's about letting go and moving on. I pray they finally find the peace that they need.
P.S.
Wish my hubby luck as he fly with his dad and two teenage daughters who never flew before. LOL.
